Display boards to have 70% Kannada content, 30% English: Karnataka Rakshana Vedike to shopkeepers
Bengaluru (Karnataka), Aug 13 (ANI): Members of the Karnataka Rakshana Vedike took to the streets, raised slogans and gave out pamphlets to the shopkeepers asking them to change language on display boards to Kannada. A shopkeeper said the protestors have asked them to use the display board, which is 70 percent in Kannada and 30 percent in English, or else the boards would be damaged. Earlier, the group had protested over the use of Hindi language on signboards in Bengaluru metro stations
