RWA holds meeting to discuss deteriorating civic conditions
New Delhi, Apr 19 (ANI): The Residents Welfare Association (RWA) of Defence Colony in New Delhi invited the local MLA, Madan Lal and the Municipal Councilor Seema Malik together to the colony to apprise them of the deteriorating civic conditions. The office bearers were briefed on the situation by the President of the RWA, Retired Major Ranjit Singh in the presence of other association members and eminent citizens residing in the colony. The lack of civic amenities was highlighted by the help of photographs. Earlier a representative of the Municipal Councilor had also been taken for a tour of the colony to give an on-ground assessment. All colonies of the National Capital Region (NCR) need a review of the civic processes especially those related to health and security. The authorities need to open nodal agencies to deal with coordination problems.
