In order to sensitize students about the importance of waste management and recycling, The Energy and Resources Institute(TERI) and Tetra Pak India have launched an initiative.
 
This is called as 'Cartons to Classrooms.' The focus of this initiative is to sensitize the youth about waste management and give an insight onto this.
 
That is being done by making the students aware of the four 'R's â€" refuse, reuse, reduce and recycle. Students in the age group of 10-18 years will be participating in the initiative, which is a part of Project Search.
