Ranchi University will soon get a foreign guest. A six-hour long syndicate meeting decided that a student from Romania, who showed her interest in doing her Phd from RU, will be permitted to take admission here.
 
In the meeting, it was also decided that under the career advancement scheme of the university, Ajay Kumar, a lecturer of St. Xavier's College, received increment and six lecturers were appointed at the college.
 
Lecturers of geography and chemistry had also been promoted under the scheme and few other decisions were taken regarding the upliftment of the institution.
