Just recently, it was reported that the Allahabad University has decided to set up anti-ragging committees to ensure such incidents don't happen. Recently, a meeting of the committee happened.The significant thing was the presence of the district magistrate of Allahabad. Sharing his thoughts, Alok Kumar mentioned that separate anti-ragging cells must be constituted to keep strict vigil.He also suggested that hoardings should be put up offering helpline numbers and mention about the provisions of the Anti Ragging Ordinance 2010. Promotion of Anti-Ragging Ordinance through FM Radio stations was another option.
