London, Aug 17 : Britons Kirstie and Zoe Green
have become the first set of identical twins to study the same subject
at a college under Cambridge University.
The 18-year-old twins, from Thorne, South Yorks, will study English literature at Homerton College, the Daily Express reported.
They are the first students from their town to go to Cambridge in more than 30 years.
The
girls achieved almost the same A-level grades -- A* in English, A in
religious studies and an A* for Zoe and an A for Kirstie in history.
They had been at the bottom of their class until inspired by their primary teacher Gwyneth Harrison.
Their father Nigel, a policeman, said: "We see them giving other young people the confidence to go for it."
