London Olympics-2012 - News
Ronaldinho's Atletico Mineiro return to top of Brazil's Serie A

Rio de Janeiro, Aug 10 :  Ronaldinho's Atletico Mineiro returned to the top of Brazil's Serie A championship with a 1-0 victory over Coritiba.

The two-time FIFA world player of the year made the assist for Rever Araujo's 47th-minute header at the Raimundo Sampaio Stadium Thursday, reports Xinhua.

Atletico now have 11 wins from 14 matches and lead the competition by one point from Vasco da Gama.

Fluminense moved to third after a 2-1 victory over Sao Paulo at the Engenhao stadium in Rio.

Brazil international striker Fred scored the winner for the home side with a 50th-minute header after Sao Paulo's Cicero had cancelled out Leandro Euzebio's opener.

In Thursday's only other match, Gremio, coached by former Brazil and Real Madrid manager Vanderlei Luxemburgo, drew 0-0 away to Ponte Preta.
