London, Aug 10 :  Britain's Jade Jones beat Hou Yuzhuo of China for the country's first Olympic gold in women's taekwondo here Thursday.

It was a sweet revenge for the Briton for last year's world championship final defeat to Hou.

Jade racked up the crucial points in round two as the pair could not be split in the first and the third, making for a final score of 6-4.
