Auto Raja Sandalwood Movie Review
Story:
An alright tale the story begins with Auto Raja (ganesh) who is a loyal fan of Shankar Nag and believes in his ideals. At one instant, he also gets the job of a part time RJ and his boss (deepika) is impressed with his work as he can speak like Shankar Nag. But his identity is kept secret. Meanwhile, Radha (bhama) wants to become an actress but the ways of industry disturb her and she decides to give up. But RJ Raja changes her mind and she becomes a great actress. Meanwhile, Raja’s boss falls in love with him and even Radha also. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a subject filled storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was not good enough. The dialogues were adequate. The script was average and the screenplay could have been lot better. The background score was suitable and two songs were okay. Cinematography was impressive. Editing was required in key scenes. Costumes were well designed while the art department was upto the mark. Ganesh is more suited for family and class roles and not for such mass characters. Bhama was neat. Deepika looks glamorous and attractive. Dharma was decent, Sadhu Kokila gave his share of smiles. The others didn’t have much scope.

Conclusion:
The film seems to be an attempt from Ganesh to hit at the mass audience using the name of Shankar Nag. However, it takes a lot more than that to satisfy the viewers. The first half was completely flat and didn’t have any interesting moments. It is only the second half where the momentum picks up and gets into a plot. Overall, the film has been made with less energy and it is good at places. At the box office, this could be an average to below average grosser.
