Topiwala Sandalwood Movie Review
Story:
A ridiculous tale, the story is about Basak (uppi) who is watched by a cop Ramanayana (rangayana). Basak is on the lookout for a person (sudhakar) because he has a code that can release the entire black money of the politicians in India. The code is cut into three pieces and one piece is with Gabbar Singh (Ravi Shankar) and one Mr India (Biradar). What happens after that and whether Basak is successful in his mission or not forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an immature storyline and while the presentation was exorbitant, the narrative was very bad.  The dialogues were silly. The script was amateur and the screenplay was terrible. The background score was somewhat okay and songs were good in making but not that melodious. Cinematography was rich.  Editing was required at many places. Costumes were stylish and suited the occasion while the art department was excellent. Upendra does his usual signature style performance and sometimes it was bad. Bhavana had nothing much to offer. Ravi Shankar did his best. Rangayana Raghu was regular. Maithreyi was moderate. The others didn’t have much scope.

Conclusion:
The idea of the film revolving around digging out the black money of politicians sounds good and interesting but the path chosen to extract that amount and the way it was presented was not at all convincing. The first half goes about with some elements of comedy, romance and some silly stuff. The second half tries to bring seriousness but the whole attempt falls flat. There is no logic in the plot at all. Overall, this is a film which came in with promise but fails to deliver. At the box office, this will sink.

Bharatstudent verdict: Good thought but weak execution and illogical conviction
