White Boys Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
CP (vijayaraghavan) is a well known politician who goes to a holiday retreat at a hill station along with his wife Geetha (anjali) and his son Vivek (gourav menon). This is not the first time he does that but this time he gets to meet two youngsters Dattan (kaushik babu) and Balu (lijo krishnan) who are also golfers. CP invites them to his place but little does he know what is about to unfold. What is that mystery forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a remake storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were okay. The script was average and the screenplay was moderate. The background score was energetic and songs were not appealing. Cinematography was the best among the lot. Editing was alright. Costumes didn’t have much to do while the art department was natural. Vijayaraghavan did his bit as required but nothing special from him, Koushik Babu was confident while Lijo Krishnan was nice, Gourav Menon was effective. The best among the lot was Anjali Aneesh who was versatile and quite expressive. Others didn’t get any scope.

Conclusion:
The film is the remake of the Hollywood movie ‘Funny Games’ and it must be said that the director has not changed an inch of the script. He simply lifted and shifted it. The first half takes off without much confusion and it picks up as it progresses. The interval bang was interesting and the second half continues with its amount of ups and downs. Overall, this is a movie which had potential but it could have added more impact if few sections were trimmed rightly. At the box office, the concept may appeal to a few but it could become an average grosser.
