Apothecary Malluwood Movie Review
‘Apothecary’ is the name of a hospital which has been setup by a group of big people including a doctor. Their objective is just to make money. In that hospital is admitted a famous neurologist Vijay Nambiar (Suresh gopi) as he meets with a serious accident. While his position is critical, he also gets to becomet the basis for various politics that take place inside a hospital. Vijay is accompanied by Zubin (jayasuriya) another patient. How things take shape forms the rest.
Apothecary Malayalam Cinema Review
The director has come up with a realistic storyline and while the presentation was elegant, the narrative was sufficiently absorbing. The dialogues were well written. The script was different and the screenplay made it effective. The background score was melodious but songs were just okay. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was alright. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was apt. Suresh Gopi gave a very good performance and he contained himself very well. The one to watch out for is Jayasuriya, he is a showstealer and deserves an award for his act. Indrans was good, Asif Ali was powerful, Abhirami was appealing, Meera Nandan was moderate, Raghavan was regular, Thampy Antony was neat.
Apothecary Filem Review
The film has come up with a subject that deals with the real life issues faced by those who visit the hospital. The first half was quite breezy and it dealt with the plot very well. Even the interval bang was quite promising. But things came down rapidly during the second half. There were quite a few drags and lags in some scenes. Still the last few minutes picked up well and the ending was impact creating. Overall, ths is a film which would appeal to the thinking audience and at the box office, it is going to be a profit grosser.
