Praise the Lord Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
An average tale, the story begins with Joy (mammootty) a rich man who has plantation business and he lives happily with his wife Ancy (reenu) and two kids. His life takes a turn when two lovers Samkutty (ahamed) and Aani (akanksha) come into their house and he has to hide them for few days. Given their opposite natures, Joy and Ancy do their best to develop a bond of commitment between them. What happens after that forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was okay, the narrative was not appealing. The dialogues were well written. The script was average and the screenplay was weak. The background score was melodious and two songs were worth watching. Cinematography was not upto the mark. Editing was moderate. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was natural. Mammootty did his role with ease and scored. Reenu Matthews looks seductive and performed well. Ahamed Siddique was a miscast and his expressions were blank, Akanksha Puri was pretty. Indrans was usual, Mukesh was moderate, Shajon was standard.

Conclusion:
The plot for the movie was simple and it had an interesting twist to it but if it is not packed with good energy and some entertainment, the effect will not be there. The first half goes in a slow manner and the interval bang was interesting. The second half carries some interesting moments but the momentum was not there. Overall, this is a film which had some potential but due to lack of tight screenplay it fails to work. At the box office, success is doubtful.
