Story: An interesting thriller, the story begins with a grocery shop owner Madhavan (indrajith) who is preparing to get married to his fiancée Gauri (archana). Before that, he becomes witness to a murder, the victim is the son of Korakkattil Varghese (joy thomas) a very powerful person. The killer is a notorious gangster Peringodan (murali gopi) who is also an expert in horoscopes. Meanwhile, CI Mathew (sudheer) is bent on arresting Peringodan so Madhavan becomes crucial for that. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Presentation: The director has come up with a gripping storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was absorbing. The dialogues were well written. The script was average but the screenplay made it lot better. The background score was melodious and songs were just okay. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was required in the second half. Costumes were well designed to suit the nativity while the art department was realistic. Indrajith gave a good performance and he scored. But the man to look is Murali Gopi, he was menacing. Sudheer was also nice. Devi Ajith was impressive. Archana looks pretty. Others didn’t have much scope.
Conclusion: Thriller genres are often challenging because they need to be woven with tight screenplay and interesting twists and turns. In this, the episode of the revolver is quite engaging. The first half of the film is very nice and breezes through with good pace but the second half lacks in pace. Still, it has got enough material to be liked by thriller lovers. At the box office, the film has a good chance of becoming a success if the word of mouth gets strong.
