Romans Malluwood Movie Review
Story:
An alright tale the story begins with Akash (kunchacko boban) a small time magician and Shibu (biju menon) who is a pickpocket. Both get arrested for small reasons and are taken in a train. But both jump from it and reach a village with a church closed. The locals mistake the duo to be the priests who were expected to come and open the church because some evil mysteries are happening around. Not knowing that, Akash and Shibu rename themselves as Father Sebastian and Father Paul and reopen the church. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an entertaining storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was entertaining in parts.  The dialogues were average. The script was well written but the screenplay could have been better. The background score was gripping and two songs were worth listening.  Cinematography captured the natural locales well.  Editing made its presence felt. Costumes were according to the moods while the art department was apt. Kunchacko was expressive and good while Biju Menon was humorous at many places. Niveda Thomas is a vision of beauty but her character was not strong. TG Ravi was regular, Nelson was natural, Kochu Preman was neat. The rest did their bit as required.

Conclusion:
The idea of this movie has been coming up with a comedy treat so there was not much space for logic and reasoning. However, the material of humour was not that well etched. The first half of the film goes about with regular elements of humor, songs and action but the second half has few serious moments. Though some of it was predictable the whole thing was balanced well. At the box office this is going to be an average grosser.

Bharatstudent verdict: Comedy tale with some smiles to it , can be watched once
