101 Weddings Malluwood Movie Review
Story: An alright tale, the story begins with Krishnankutty (kunchacko) who is the son of the staunch Gandhian Shankara Pillai (vijayraghavan). Krishnan is naughty by nature and he becomes a TV producer. He doesn’t hesitate to do little frauds for money. Pillai realizes this and he discovers one girl Abhirami (samvrutha) as the right choice for Krishnan. Abhirami runs a charitable society and as part of that, they decide to hold 101 weddings for couples and find her life partner also. Krishnan is forced to be part of it so he makes his friend Jyothi (jayasuriya) to take his place. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
101 Weddings Malayalam Cinema Review
Presentation: The director has come up with a predictable storyline with youth appeal and while the presentation was effective, the narrative was good in parts.  The dialogues were alright, the script was having logical loopholes and the screenplay was average. Background score was upto the mark but songs were not impact creating.  Cinematography was the best among the lot. Editing was required during second half. Costumes were trendy and stylish while the art department was apt. Kunchacko Boban carried out his role with ease, Biju Menon was also good. Samvrutha Sunil was neat, Vijayaraghavan was elegant, Jayasuriya was hilarious. The others did their bit as required and added value.

Conclusion: The film has been on a particular formula and nothing much was done to deviate from it. However, there were places where reasoning was not there so the scenes were not convincing. The first half takes off promisingly and looked good till interval. But the second half failed to meet the expectations. Even the climax was also not that convincing. Overall, this is a film which can end up as an average grosser at the box office.
Bharatstudent verdict: Time pass entertainer, should not be watched with logic and reason
