Aadama Jaichomada Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
Dayalan (balaji) is a bookie who fixes matches between players and betters. A big match is scheduled to take place in Chennai two days later so he hires a taxi to avoid getting traced while doing transactions. The taxi driver Paneer (karunakaran) drives Dayalan around and they get to know each other. Paneer is in heavy debts and Dayalan offers to help. But the next day, Dayalan is found murdered and Paneer is held responsible. What happens from there forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was disappointing. The dialogues were alright. The script was above average but the screenplay was very weak. The background score was neat and songs could not create an impact. Cinematography was the saving grace. Editing was poor. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was alright. Balaji was very good, Karunakaran fitted the bill rightly. Bobby Simha scores once again. Vijayalakshmi looks very pretty and she deserves more chances. Aadukalam Naren was apt. Others didn’t get much scope.

Conclusion:
The idea of coming up with the life of a bookie and what goes behind match fixing is really interesting. Though the subject is intense effort was made to infuse humor which is also good. But then, all elements need to be packed in the right proportion. The first half goes about with elements of comedy, some action and some romance. The interval bang was neat but the second half got disturbed with unwanted songs and dragged sequences. Overall, this is a film which had strong potential to impress but improper handling of the script hampered the appeal.
