Sigaram Thodu Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
Chellappa (sathyaraj) is a cop who lost his leg and is dreaming of making his son Murali (vikram) a cop. However, Murali is clear about his goal and he wants to become a bank manager. He also meets Ambujam (monal) who hates cops for her own reasons and falls in love with her. The story takes a turn when a series of ATM loots keep happening and in a twist of incidents, Murali becomes a cop. What happens from there forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an engaging storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were well written. The script was average but the screenplay had its good moments. The background score was nice and only one song was worth listening. Cinematography was effective. Editing was required during the second half and on the romance track. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was apt. Vikram Prabhu has shown more energy this time and has scored well. Sathyaraj was perfect. Monal Gajjar was bubbly and cute. Satish was hilarious. Erode Mahesh was effective, Gaurav was good. Kovai Sarala was usual.

Conclusion:
The film comprises of three different tracks altogether filled with different emotions. The makers tried to combine them in the right manner and provide the required impact. The film takes off on the right track and fumbles a bit as it progresses. The interval bang was neat. The second half got dragged due to overdose of sentimental melodrama. However, the intent was conveyed rightly and the film lands well. At the box office, the film scores well with the commercial audience so it could get into the profit zone.

Bharatstudent verdict: Energetic cop flick!
