Vanavarayan Vallavarayan Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
Vanavarayan (krishna) and Vallavarayan (anand) are brothers and though they have their differences  they are always one when outside problems come. Vanu is the elder brother and after several trials for his marriage, he finally finds Anjali (monal) and falls in love with her. But the matter leaks in the village and things get ugly. Added to that, his brother’s help complicates the matter further. What happens after that forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a regular storyline and while the presentation was effective, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were regular. The script was average and the screenplay was moderate. The background score was a major letdown and songs were also weak. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were well designed to suit the native backdrop while the art department was natural. Krishna has carried out his role with good conviction and scored. Anand was also competent. Monal Gajjar looks seductive and she did her bit as required. Thambi Ramaiah was standard and Kovai Sarala was usual. Jayaprakash was cool. Charan was alright. Niharika was neat.

Conclusion:
Whenever the story is not that strong, the screenplay must be good enough to ensure that the entertainment quotient is maintained. In this film, that has not happened. The first half is somewhat effective with elements of comedy, some romance and action. The interval bang was alright. The second half failed to meet the expectations and there are few hiccups in the script. Overall, this is a film which had the potential to create more impact but improper execution played spoilsport. At the box office, it might be an average grosser.
