Vetri Selvan Kollywood Movie Review
A weak tale, the story is about Vetri (ajmal), professor (mano) and Ganesh are patients in a mental asylum but they escape. Unfortunately, that is the day when the chief doctor and another bigshot Bashyam (thalaivasal vijay) are murdered in the premises. The police suspect the trio. Meanwhile, they go to Ooty and join a mechanic service centre. Sudha (radhika apte) a criminal lawyer is a regular visitor to the centre and she falls in love with Vetri. However, the police come and arrest Vetri, professor while Ganesh dies in a road accident. What happens from there forms the rest.

Vetri Selvan Tamil Cinema Review
The director has come up with a thought provoking storyline and while the presentation was nice, the narrative was bad. The dialogues were weak. The script was average and the screenplay was terrible. The background score was good but songs were not catchy. Cinematography was adequate. Editing was alright. Costumes were upto the mark while the art department was effective. Ajmal has done his role with good confidence and conviction. Radhika Apte is a natural beauty and she was nice. Mano was bad, he needs to improve. Ganja Karuppu failed to entertain, Azhagam Perumal was apt. Others did their bit as required.
Vetri Selvan Filem Review
It is one thing to come up with a realistic issue and another to conceive in the right cinematic format. In this film, the issue chosen was appreciated but it was not presented in the right manner. The first half of the film has absolutely nothing to hook the audience and even the comedy factor was silly. The interval bang was alright and things didn’t improve much in second half. Overall, this is a film which could have shaped well but its execution was poor. At the box office, it might sink without a trace.

Bharatstudent verdict: Realistic subject but poor handling, can be ignored
