Vadacurry Kollywood Movie Review
An alright tale, the story begins with Sathish (jai) who hails from a lower middle class family and is often ridiculed for his cheap mobile phone. One day, he finds an iphone and he decides to return it to the rightful owner Ravi (Ravi Prakash). However, it turns out that Ravi happens to be absconding for doing illegal trade of medicines. Sathish is mistaken to be Ravi and due to that, his friend Vadacurry (rj balaji) is kidnapped by Dhayalan (ajay) as he is cheated by Ravi. What happens from there forms the rest.
Vadacurry Tamil Cinema Review
The director has come up with an engaging storyline and while the presentation was nice, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were decent. The script was well written but the screenplay could have been better. The background score was melodious and two songs were worth watching. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was not sharp during second half. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was apt. Jai has carried out his role with confidence and he scored. Swati had limited scope but she did her best. RJ Balaji was hilarious, Aruldoss was adequate, Ajay Raj was effective, Kasthuri looks sensuous. Others didn’t get much to offer.
Vadacurry Filem Review
A combination of humor plus some thriller elements always makes for a good script. The same was attempted here but it was not upto the mark. The first half was smooth with a good dose of humor and some romance as well. The interval bang had some promise while the second half took a different turn and became a thriller. However, it was not packed with the right surprises and dips in its momentum. Still, this is a film which is good for timepass entertainment. At the box office, it could be an average to above average grosser.
