Pulivaal Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
An alright tale the story begins with Karthi (prasanna) who owns a big company and is a go getter. Unaware of his womanizing, Monica (oviya) falls for him and offers herself to him. But all this is captured by Karthi in his mobile phone. On the other hand, there is Kasi (vemal) who works at a store and is in deep love with Selvi (ananya). The story takes a turn when Karthi loses his phone and it lands in the hands of Kasi who has no clue how to operate it. What happens after that forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was catchy in parts. The dialogues were apt. The script was offbeat and the screenplay could have been better. The background score was nice and two songs were worth watching. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was required at few places. Costumes were suiting the characters while the art department was adequate. Prasanna was the show stealer and shows his versatility. Vemal carried out his part with required effort. Oviya looks sexy. Ananya didn’t get much scope Soori was hilarious. Iniya was brief. Others didn’t get much to do.

Conclusion:
The film happens to be the remake of the malayaalm hit Chappa Kurishu and the director has not made much change to the original. The first half goes about with elements of lust, romance and other things. The interaval bang was nice and the second hfalf is more suspense oriented. However, there were significant drags in the film which dips the momentum. Overall, this is a film which appeals to the thriller seeking audience. At the box office, this would be an average fare.

Bharatstudent verdict: Passable thriller, can be watched
