Story: A weird tale, the story is about Ganesh (thambi ramaiah) who is a middle aged man but his dream is to become an director and keeps trying for a chance from many years. One night, he ends up in a police station due to his drunken behavior and comes across a bunch of vagabond youngsters (varun, madhan, selva, sathya sai). Together, they decide to come together and come up with their own scenarios. What happens from there forms the rest.
Presentation: The director has come up with a weird storyline and while the presentation was okay, the narrative was bad. The dialogues were silly. The script was illogical and the screenplay made it worse. The background score was tolerable and songs were a letdown. Cinematography was the saving grace. Editing was okay. Costumes didn’t have much to worry while the art department was alright. Thambi Ramaiah was good but he went overboard at few places. Varun was alright, Madhan was mediocre, Sathya Sai was standard, Selva was apt. Neha was natural, Rajkamal was regular. Others didn’t get much scope.
Conclusion: It is one thing to come up with a comedy treat and another to come up with a film that takes the name of comedy but annoys. This film belongs to the second category. Nowhere in the film does the entertainment look convincing or connecting. The film takes off on an alright note but as it progresses the graph falls. The interval bang was okay and the second half went down badly. Overall, this is a film that doesn’t really have anything promising. At the box office, this will sink without a trace.
