Story: A half baked tale the story begins with Sugan (karthi) and his friend Parasuram (premji) who work in a tractor company. After attending their company showroom opening they return and on the way they meet a sexy stranger called Maya (mandy). Both end up drinking and go with her to a hotel. Morning, they wake up to see they are trapped in the murder case of a businessman Varadarajan (nasser). What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Presentation: The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was nice, the narrative was not that appealing. The dialogues were alright. The script was average and the screenplay was not upto the mark. The background score was melodious but songs were not that catchy. Cinematography was the main strength. Editing could have been better. Costumes were well designed while the art department was apt. Karthi has done his role well and did his bit as required. Premji was witty and managed to get few smiles. Hansika was cute and made her presence felt. Mandy was sexy. Nasser was natural. Sampath was standard. Others didn’t have much scope.
Conclusion: The film has been released in Telugu as well simultaneously with the same title. The first half goes in a light hearted manner with elements of comedy and romance, the second half takes a different turn and becomes a thriller of sorts but then the pace was slow and it doesn’t keep the momentum on. Overall, this is a film which would have scored if handled properly. This is one film where logic should not be applied and only the entertainment factor must be enjoyed. At the box office, this would be an average treat. Bharatstudent verdict: Passable entertainer but could have been better
