Story:
An alright tale, the story begins with Meera (lekha) who is brought up with the mindset of finding a perfect groom in her life and settle down. She sees that in Raghu (prasanna) and develops an instant liking. They get engaged and marriage is fixed eight months later. But this is the period which is a challenge for Raghu as he has to impress Meera in a big way. At the time of marriage, an unexpected discovery is made and what happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were sensible and witty at few places. The script was something different and the screenplay was apt. The background score was melodious and two songs were worth listening. Cinematography was masterly. Editing was moderate. Costumes were well designed to suit the occasion while the art department was majestic. Prasanna has come up with an elegant performance and he scores. Lekha is not much of a looker but she scores with her bubbliness. Delhi Ganesh was decent. Uma Padmanabhan was standard, Raghav was regular, Ramamurthy was neat. Others didn’t have much scope.

Conclusion:
The film came in with a good hype and true to that, even some of the scenes are quite realistic and something audience can connect to. Though the first half was light hearted with elements of romance, comedy and songs, it is the second half which was not able to sustain the momentum. Also, the dose of sentiment and emotion could have been toned down a little. Overall, this is a film which can be enjoyed for its naturality and the entertainment it offers. At the box office, this could be an average to above average grosser.

Bharatstudent verdict:Simple but enjoyable, can be watched once
