Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
An entertaining tale, the story begins with Sumar Moonji Kumar (vijay) who is a carefree not doing much but he has his interest in Kumudha (nanditha) living in the same locality. On the other hand, there is another handsome chap Bala (ashwin) who is sandwiched between his boss at office and his over possessive girlfriend Renu (swati). How their lives intertwine and brings the changes forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a fun filled romantic storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were witty. The script was average and the screenplay made it lot better. The background score was melodious and two songs were worth watching. Cinematography was professional. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were well designed to suit the nativity while the art department was appealing. The film scores totally on Vijay Sethpuathy for his impressive performance, Nandita was natural and sweet, Ashwin was effective, Swati made her presence felt. The others like Pasupathy, M S Baskar, Raghavan have done well on their part.

Conclusion:
Coming up with romantic entertainers is one thing but it also needs to blend with some good comedy and nativity effect. This film had that. The first half was quite promising as it had a nice share of comedy and romance but the second half didn’t have the same momentum like the first half. Still, it had its own share of light moments and was able to hook the audience. Overall, at the box office, the film has enough scope to become a success and profitable venture.

Bharatstudent verdict: Passable entertainer, can be watched once
