Story: An alright tale, the story begins with Sakthi (dileepan) who runs a shared auto and he falls in love with Leena (anjali) the strict girl who rides in his auto everyday. While Sakthi does everything possible to woo her he also ends up having some issues with three gangs who are criminals. One of them is led by Vanaraj (jagan) and after going through lot of issues, Sakthi finally decides to brave all the gangs. What happens to his love story and his fights forms the rest of the story.
Presentation: The director has come up with a formula storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was adequate. The dialogues were well written. The script was average but the screenplay was mostly entertaining. The background score was the life and songs were worth listening. Cinematography was masterly. Editing was upto the mark. Costumes were usual and suited the occasion while the art department was apt. Dileepan has come up with a very versatile performance and he has shown his skills. Anjali is seductive as usual and performs as required. Jayaprakash was neat, Sampath Raj was superb, Saranya was standard, Raja was regular.
Conclusion: Sometimes a film doesn’t have to run on a strong storyline or script, if the director has enough talent to cover all elements that will be good enough for the film to run. The same has happened here. The first half of the film goes on a lighter vein with elements of comedy, romance and some action. The second half goes serious with different twists and some melodrama angle. Overall, this is a film which suits the regular audience. At the box office, the film will be a profit grosser. Bharatstudent verdict: Routine storyline but good performances and nice execution
