Aadhi Bhagavan Kollywood Movie Review
Story:
A mindless tale, the story is about a bad guy (jayam ravi) who tends to have a lot of enemies because they are also bad guys. He keeps bumping them off right from regular courier boys who deliver guns to mafia dons to big bad boys. He is shunned by his mother (sudha chandran) for all this and eventually he crosses swords with the biggest villain (Babu Antony) of all. He also has a love track going parallel with a girl (neetu Chandra). What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a rather irrational storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was confusing.  The dialogues were weak. The script was illogical and the screenplay was ineffective. The background score was appealing and only one song was melodious. Cinematography was top notch.  Editing was okay. Costumes were suiting the environment while the art department was appealing. Jayam Ravi put in a lot of efforts to justify his character so he did his job well. Neetu Chandra tried something different but her wild sex appeal is hard to miss. Babu Antony was good. Sudha Chandran was standard. The others didn’t add value.

Conclusion:
The film was in the making since a long time and it also had its share of controversies. In between all this, the film didn’t really have enough material or clarity to convey a proper message to the audience. The first half takes off on a nice not but within minutes things begin to fall apart. The second half gets more confusing and there is a lot of bloodshed and unwanted scenes. Overall, this is a film which had a good thought but somewhere the important points were missing. At the box office, this will fizzle out.

Bharatstudent verdict: Extreme concept, amateur execution, good performances
