Story: A remake tale, the story is about three friends who are rather careless (santhanam, srinivasan, sethu) and take it easy types. Their life takes a turn with the arrival of a girl (vishaka singh) in the neighbourhood. All three of them fall in love with her and device plans to win her heart. In this process, they don’t know that all of them are in for the same girl and once discovered they also try to outdo each other and impress her. But whether the pretty girl gives her heart to any one of them or not forms the rest of the story.
Presentation: The director has come up with a remake storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was entertaining. The dialogues were the highlight. The script was sufficient and the screenplay was above average. The background score was melodious and two songs were worth watching and hearing. Cinematography was upto the mark. Editing was adequate. Costumes were regular and suited the moods while the art department was apt. Santhanam was hilarious enough but he underplayed himself at many places, the real cake went to Srinivasan with his antics and unusual dialogues, Sethu was good. Vishakha Singh is sexy and shows her oomph in the songs. Devadarshini was decent, Kovai Sarala was usual, VTV Ganesh was funny.
Conclusion: The film is the remake of the yesteryears super hit made by K Bhagyaraj but then many changes have been made to the script to suit the taste of today’s audience. While the first half goes on a smooth way with the introduction of characters and the plot the second half shows the various changes and twists with some funny elements. Overall, this is a film meant for those who look for entertaining comedy and not content. At the box office, this will easily reach the success mark.
Bharatstudent Verdict: Well made remake tale, good comedy
