This is not liked by his wife (seetha) but after a while she agrees to Satyam Master’s desire. The dog is named Tommy and in no time it becomes very attached to the family. But one incident happens which changes their life forever. What is that incident and how things take shape forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an emotional storyline and while the presentation was nice, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were decent. The script was interesting but the screenplay could have been strong. The background score was melodious and two songs were worth listening. Cinematography was effective. Editing was required during second half. Costumes were natural and not flashy while the art department was realistic. Rajendra Prasad carried out his role with elegance and was good. Seetha was elegant. The dog was the real showstealer with its act. Raghubabu was regular. L B Sriram made his presence felt. Mumtaj was neat, Surya was standard.

Conclusion:
The film happens to be strongly inspired from a Hollywood movie and unlike the original which is strong in emotional quotient, this one has been a little weak. The first half is quite good with elements of humor, some dramatic moments and interesting scenes. The interval bang was nice but the second half spoils the momentum due to slow pace and abrupt ending. Overall, the film had good potential to become an emotional treat but it was not executed well in the second half. At the box office, the film could get to average mark with some word of mouth publicity.
