Bandipotu Tollywood Movie Review
Viswa (naresh) is a conman who believes in looting the corrupt rich with an objective. He is approached by Jahnavi (esha) who gives him an assignment. Viswa has to con three men, Makrand (tanikella), Bhale Babu (posani) and Seshagiri (ravu ramesh) who are big people in the society. Why did Esha want that to happen and whether Viswa was successful in doing that or not forms the rest.
Bandipotu Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was engaging in parts. The dialogues were well written though some went overboard. The script was above average and the screenplay made it better. The background score was very nice but the songs were not worth remembering. Cinematography was an added asset. Editing was required during the second half. Costumes were well designed and stylish while the art department was appealing. Allari Naresh gave a totally different image to himself with this role, he was good. Esha looks very sensuous and her voice is quite seductive, she has good performance quotient. Tanikella Bharani was entertaining, Ravu Ramesh was excellent, Posani was upto the mark. Sampoornesh Babu was good. Saptagiri did his bit as required. Srinivas Avasarala was efficient. Good to see Subhalekha Sudhakar back. Chandramohan was apt.
Bandipotu Filem Review
Unlike the other routine comedies, this film comes with a meaningful plot and it has been executed in the right manner. The first half is more breezy with elements of humor, some drama and some romance. The interval bang was promising. Things got slower in the second half but the climax picked up well. If only some length was trimmed in the second half, the impact would have been great. Overall, this is a film which would appeal a lot to the urban audience and those who seek clean entertainers with intelligence. At the box office, the film has enough to reach the success mark.
