Anukshanam Tollywood Movie Review
Story:
Gautham (vishnu) is a crime branch cop getting bogged with a series of killings happening in Hyderabad.  A psycho killer is on the loose targeting young girls and the motive behind that is not known. He is joined by a noted psychiatrist Archana (revathi) who has done behavioral research of serial killers. The killings continue but at one point it gets very personal. How things take shape from then forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a hard hitting storyline and while the presentation was smooth, the narrative was crisp. The dialogues were regular. The script was average while the screenplay was predictable. The background score was adequate but unnecessary at many places. Cinematography was comfortable. Editing was good. Costumes didn’t have much work to do while the art department was apt. Manchu Vishnu carried out his role with good temperament and contributed as required. Good to see Revathi back and she did her part well. Surya’s body language and expressions were justifying. Shravan, Supreeth, Tejaswi, Madhushalini, Navdeep were brief and did their bit as required. Sana was effective.

Conclusion:
The concept of psycho killers is generally not explored much in our Indian cinema but RGV has the habit of touching the unthinkable. This film was a good attempt in that genre and though it lacked the depth or the substance to give you a goosebump experience, it had enough to keep you busy. The first half goes around with the layering of the plot and the predictable scenes while the interval bang was interesting. The second half continued in similar fashion but the last ten minutes had something to cause an impact. Overall, this is a film which continues without much confusion and one cannot complain. At the box office, this will surely land into the profit zone given its making cost.
