Power Tollywood Movie Review
ACP Baldev Sahay (Ravi Teja) is in Kolkata and he is a corrupt cop. He rescues a notorious criminal Ganguly (sampath) from honest cops and loses his life. The home minister Jayvardhan (mukesh rishi) is also looking for Ganguly. Meanwhlie, in another place, there is Tirupathi (Ravi Teja) whose only dream is to become a cop but his Bava (brahmi) who is already a cop is not that encouraging. Incidentally, both Baldev and Tirupathi look alike. Jayvardhan gets in touch with Tirupathi and asks him to become Baldev. What happens from there forms the rest.
Power Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with an action packed storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quite absorbing. The dialogues were well written. The script was above average and the screenplay made it lot better. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was crisp. Costumes were well designed to suit the royalty while the art department was majestic. Ravi Teja carried out the film in an excellent manner and he was all energetic. Hansika looks glamorous and she has given the required visual feast. Regina was ravishing and made her presence felt. Mukesh Rishi was powerful and scored very well. Brahmanandam gave his share of laughs. Kota was brief but good. Posani was alright, Sampath was standard. Others did their bit as required.
Power Filem Review
Unlike the regular formula entertainers which have been focusing a lot on comedy, this film has got a higher dose of action and there is also a sensible message. The first half goes on a lighter note with elements of comedy, romance, fights and some songs. The interval bang was nice and the second half was more intense with fast paced action sequences and an interesting flashback episode. Overall, this is a film which is the perfect recipe for mass masala audience. At the box office, this has a good chance to become a sizeable success.
