Sikindar Tollywood Movie Review
Krishna (suriya) comes from Vizag to Mumbai in the search of her brother Raju Bhai (suriya) who is a noted gangster in the city. Krishna meets different people and also knows about Raju Bhai’s friendship with Chandu (vidyut) and also about Raju’s sweetheart (samantha). It turns out that a big mafia don Imran Bhai (manoj bajpai) is responsible to change Raju Bhai’s life. How Krishna deals with it forms the rest.
Sikindar Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a routine storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was stretched. The dialogues were alright. The script was predictable but the screenplay had its better moments. The background score was energetic and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was required at few places. Costumes were well designed to suit the royalty while the art department was majestic. Suriya has once again proved why he is the best performer as he carries out his role to perfection. He could have delivered more if needed. Samantha looks sexy and glamorous. Vidyut Jammwal was good. Manoj Bajpayee made his presence felt. Brahmanandam was wasted. Soori was alright. Dalip Tahil was elegant. Murali Sharma was brief. Sathyan was standard. Chitrangda Singh was smoking hot in her song. Others did their bit as required.
Sikindar Filem Review
The film happens to be the dubbed version of the Tamil movie ‘Anjaan’ and there was that small gap due to lack of nativity feeling. Still, the making was top class and action department was very good. The first half revolves around elements of friendship, some romance and some action. The interval twist was interesting and the second half goes about with connecting the dots. Overall, this is a film which appeals largely to fans of Suriya and to those who seek proper action masala. At the box office, this has a good chance of entering the profit zone.
