Drushyam Tollywood Movie Review
Rambabu (venkatesh) runs a cable network business in a small village and he has a happy family in the form of his wife Jyothi (meena) and two daughters. He also has a very good reputation in the village for his kind nature. But one corrupt constable Veerabhadram has issues with Rambabu as he opposes his wrong ways. Story takes a turn when an incident occurs involving his elder daughter Anju (kritika) and that puts Rambabu’s family in trouble with the police department. What happens from there forms the rest.
Drushyam Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a gripping storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quite absorbing. The dialogues were well written. The script was above average and the screenplay made it lot better. The background score was melodious and two songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was crisp. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was majestic. Venkatesh deserves full praise for taking up this role and his humility is definitely commendable, he was excellent. Meena contributed in her own way and her chemistry with Venky was good. Kritika looks pretty and she made a confident debut. Another showstealer was Nadiya with her versatile act. Ravi Kale was superb. Naresh was natural, Saptagiri brought few smiles. Baby Esther was apt. Chaitanya made his presence felt. The others did their bit as required and added value to the film.
Drushyam Filem Review
The film is the remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam starring Mohanlal and Meena. Though it is a remake, the nativity element was intact and it was executed very well. The film takes off on a slow mode but it picks up after twenty minutes, the interval bang was promising. The second half goes through different twists and turns and the emotional quotient was very good. The film scores due to its intensity and the concept that has never been tried in Tollywood before. Overall, this is a film which will appeal to all genres of audience and has a super hit written all over it at the box office.
