Veerudokkade Tollywood Movie Review
An entertaining tale the story begins with Veerendra (ajith) who has younger brothers and for their upbringing he doesn’t marry. In comes Bail Penchalayya (santhanam) his friend to ensure that Veerendra falls in love. The girl in focus is Gomati (tamannah) and with her support and various plans Penchalayya and Veerendra’s brothers do various things to ensure he falls in love. And finally it happens but then a twist occurs. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
Veerudokkade Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a mass masala storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was breezy. The dialogues were written with good punch value and satire. The script was average but the screenplay made it better. The background score was melodious but songs were not impressive. Cinematography was superb. Editing was required during the first half. Costumes were native enough while the art department was appealing. Ajith rocked with his performance and also with his stunts, he was too good. Tamannah looks extremely seductive and beautiful, she was good in performance too. Santhanam was hilarious, Vidharth was apt, Pradeep Rawat was menacing enough, Ramesh Khanna was regular. Others didn’t get much to offer.
Veerudokkade Filem Review
The film is the dubbed version of the Tamil hit ‘Veeram’. It takes guts for a star hero to look his real age and then carry off the role with power and elegance. This is something only Ajith has been able to do rightly. This film is a good mix of masala elements and entertainment. The first half goes about with lighter elements of fun, romance, comedy and some action. But the second half changes its tone as it get serious and some high range action sequences are there. Despite the fact that Ajith doesn’t have strong base in Telugu, this film might work. Also, the Tamannah factor will help a lot. At the box office, this would strike a chord with the B, C centers so it could be a profitable grosser.

Bharatstudent verdict: Formulaic commercial masala, can be watched
