An okay tale, the story begins with Gautham (mahesh) who is a famous rockstar but he is haunted by the dreams of three men who killed his parents and he taking revenge. However, the doctors rule it as just a mental disorder and nothing of that sort happened. A journalist Sameera (kriti) takes interest in Gautham’s life and together they set out to seek the past. Whether Gautham is successful or not forms the rest of the story.

1...Nenokkadine Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a complicated storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was not that absorbing. The dialogues were alright. The script was average and the screenplay was quite elongated. The background score was melodious but songs were not that great. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was required at many places. Costumes were well stylishly designed to suit the royalty while the art department was majestic. Mahesh Babu didn’t have scope to really show his performance and he looks quite shrunk. Kriti Sanon is an absolute beauty and she was sexy and expressive. Nasser was natural. Pradeep Rawat was brief. Posani made his presence felt. Kelly Dorjee was good. Sayaji Shinde was okay. Gautham Krishna looked cute. Others didn’t have much scope.
1...Nenokkadine Filem Review
The film has come in with a lot of hype but then it must be said that it is quite different from the regular commercial potboilers. There is a lot of brain work involved so it is not sure how many will actually connect with it. The first half was somewhat promising and the interval bang was good but the second half went into a dip with not many interesting sequences. Overall, the film is good technically but content wise it is too complicated. At the box office, this would appeal to select audience so success marks are difficult.

Bharatstudent verdict: Just 'one' and only Mahesh!!
