Uyyala Jampala Tollywood Movie Review
A typical love tale the story begins with Suri (tarun) and Uma (avika) who are Bava-Maradalu. They have their own tale of love-hate as Suri keeps playing practical jokes on Uma and she also takes her own measures to get even with him. Meanwhile, Uma falls in love with Pardhu who happens to be a crook. Just when her life is about to be ruined, Suri saves Uma and the duo realizes their feelings for each other. But their financial status and family background becomes an issue. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Uyyala Jampala Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a romantic storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was engaging in parts. The dialogues were decent. The script was routine but the screenplay was neat. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was required during the first half. Costumes were well designed to suit the nativity while the art department was realistic. Raj Tarun carried out his role with confidence and he did his part well. Avika has already got some following due to her TV background and she was also good. The real showstealer was Punarnavi as she created an impact. Anita Chowdary was apt. Others did their bit as required.
Uyyala Jampala Filem Review
It is common to see love stories between youngsters but what is important is the way the whole thing has been packaged. In this film, the first half was not that impressive because everything is slow and there is nothing gripping. It is only the second half where things pick up and hook the viewers. However, the climax could have been smooth without a quick ending. Overall, this is a film which scores on technical values and decency. At the box office, this would be an average grosser.

Bharatstudent verdict:
Neat romantic entertainer, suits urban audience
