Mahesh Tollywood Movie Review
An entertaining tale, the story begins with Shiva (sundeep) who is a lazy bum and he is accompanied by Vasanth (jagan). Both keep loafing around but Shiva comes across Sandhya (dimple) and falls in love with her. The story takes a turn when Sandhya becomes pregnant and the parents of both Shiva and Sandhya arrange for a quick marriage. But Shiva discovers he is not the actual father and there is a guy called Mahesh. He is totally annoyed and decides to find that Mahesh. What happens from there forms the rest of the story.
Mahesh Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a simple storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was very good. The dialogues were well written. The script was average but the screenplay was terrific. The background score was good and two songs are worth listening. Cinematography was effective. Editing was abrupt in few places. Costumes were trendy and youthful while the art department was natural. Sundeep Kishan has done well in his part and shows potential, Dimple Chopra looks cute and scores, the real showstealer is Jagan with his antics, Uma Padmanabhan was neat, Srinath was standard, Livingston was alright, others added their bit effectively.
Mahesh Filem Review
The film happens to be the remake of the Tamil movie Yaruda Mahesh. These days the search is on for content rich films but this film has shown that even if the storyline is simple, if the screenplay and handling of the script is done rightly then we have an entertainer. The first half goes about with elements of comedy, romance and some songs. The second half gets a bit serious but still it doesn’t lose out on the fun part. However, despite having a good concept the direction didn’t have that energy or the pace to keep the audience hooked. At the box office, this will go below the success line.

Bharatstudent verdict: Interesting tale but weakly executed
