A masala tale the story begins with Ravi (Ravi Teja) working as recovery agent and his father Mohan Rao (Prakash Raj) wants him to get married and settle. Shruti (Shruti Haasan) gets engaged and before her marriage she wants to have some fun so she takes the help of her uncle Crazy Mohan (Brahmanandam) to play some pranks. This attempt brings Ravi into the life of Shruti and a sequence of events makes her fall in love with him. Meanwhile, a don (Ashutosh) and his men are searching for two men throughout India. Who are those two and how is it related to Ravi forms the rest of the story.
Balupu Telugu Cinema Review
The director has come up with a formula storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was energetic. The dialogues were punch filled. The script was average but the screenplay was arranged tightly. The background score was suitable but songs were a letdown. Cinematography was impressive. Editing was required in few scenes. Costumes were well designed while the art department was appealing. Ravi Teja has scored in all departments with his performance and he carries the film well. Shruti Haasan is a sizzler with her glamour and sex appeal, she will rule the roost. Anjali was sensuous and gave a significant act. Prakash Raj was perfect. Brahmanandam gave his share of comedy. Ali was apt. Adivi Sesh and Ashutosh Rana were not used to their potential. The others did their bit as required and added value.
Balupu Filem Review
After a long time, it looks like Ravi Teja is going to have a smile on his face. The film has been packed with good energy levels and entertainment. In terms of material and substance there is not much but the makers were careful to give good energy. The first half goes about with elements of comedy, action and entertainment. The interval bang has a twist. The second half has some serious elements but still the comedy part is kept intact with good action sequences. Overall, this is a film which will appeal to the commercial audience and it is a Paisa Vasool entertainer for them. At the box office, this would be landing in profit zone.

Bharatstudent verdict:
Typical Mass Maharaja entertainer, can be watched once
