Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu (CMGR) Tollywood Movie Review
Story: A message oriented tale, the story begins with Rambabu (pawan) who is ideally a mechanic but a fearless young man who stands up for justice. He teaches a lesson to the wrongdoers in his own way and this comes into the eyes of Ganga (tammu) who works as a cameraperson in a TV news channel. She manages to get Rambabu into the channel as a journalist. As usual, Rambabu deals things in his own way and this gets him into trouble with the aspiring CM Rana (Prakash Raj) and his father (kota). What happens from there forms the rest of the story.

Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu (CMGR) Telugu Cinema Review
Presentation: The director has come up with a contemporary storyline and while the presentation was alright, the narrative was good in parts.  The dialogues were not that powerful, the script was average and the screenplay was moderate. Background score was good and three songs were superb. Cinematography was top notch. Editing was not crisp during the first half. Costumes were natural and stylish while the art department was realistic. The total credit for this film goes to Pawan Kalyan. His screen presence, dialogue delivery, his conviction in the role was seen clearly and he gave a fabulous job. Tamannah is sexy as usual but her sex appeal was not used properly. Prakash gives a powerhouse performance. Kota was excellent. Brahmi was funny, Ali was below average, Gabriela was looking hot but she needs to work a lot on her acting, Tanikella Bharani was impressive, Nasser made his presence felt. Shruti was apt.

Conclusion: After more than ten years, Pawan Kalyan and Puri Jagannadh are teaming up so the expectations will be naturally high. The first half goes on in a very mild manner till the interval bang. But it is only the second half where the real momentum picks up and gives a reasonable impact on the audience. At the box office, there is no doubt the film will have great openings and if the talk is even average this will become a commercial hit easily.

Bharatstudent verdict: Sensible subject, average execution, powerful power star performance
