Badlapur Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a revenge filled storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was quite absorbing. The dialogues were hard hitting. The script was familiar but the screenplay makes it intriguing. The background score was intense and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was neat. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was apt. Varun Dhawan is a bundle of energy and he carried out his role with great elan. Yaami Gautam was simply beautiful and did her bit well. Huma Qureshi was nice. Divya Dutta was perfect, Vinay Pathak was effective, Murali Sharma was entertaining. The man to watch out for is Nawazuddin Siddiqui, he is simply too good and outstanding. The others did their bit as required and added value.
Badlapur Filem Review
The film is slated to be based on a true story and one can also see the traces of the Hollywood movie ‘The Punisher’ in this. However, the nativity element is high and the first half revolves around good strokes of emotion, passion, action and sentiment. The interval bang was interesting and the second half is more on action and intense scenes. Overall, this is a film which would suit the thriller and action seeking audience. At the box office, this has enough potential to become a success.

Bharatstudent verdict: Revengeful indeed!
