Desi kattey Bollywood Movie Review
Story:
Pali (akhil) and Gyani (jay) are buddies from childhood and they grow up to be ace sharpshooters. They worship Judge Sahab (ashutosh rana) a notorious and powerful guy who is an inspiration to them. On knowing this, Judge Sahab takes these two and they become his best men. However, the duo gets caught by police for a murder they didn’t commit. It is here that major Suryakant (suniel) bails them out and promises them a changed life. Do they accept it or not forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a good storyline and while the presentation was nice, the narrative was pathetic. The dialogues were okay. The script was average but the screenplay was worse. The background score was alright and two songs were worth listening. Cinematography was the saving grace to this film. Editing was bad. Costumes were suiting the backdrop while the art department was apt. Jay Bhanushali did his bit as required and scored while Akhil Kapur was stiff. Sasha Agha needs to work more on her acting skills while Tia Bajpai looks good. Suniel Shetty is the best among the lot and he did his best to save the film. Murli Sharma, Akhilendra Mishra, Santosh Shukla were not used to their potential. Ashutosh Rana was superb.

Conclusion:
Coming up with subjects that speak about friendship and gangsters is nice but it has to be etched in the right format so that the audience understands. In this film, the first half is quite slow and it takes a while to pick up. The interval bang was relief and the real torture begins in the second half because most of the scenes are illogical and somewhat meaningless. Overall, this is a film which has worked miserably due to poor handling and amateur execution. At the box office, this would sink.
