Khoobsurat Bollywood Movie Review
Story:
Mili (sonam) is a physiotherapist who is quite outspoken and her mother (kirron kher) feels her daughter deserves a rich alliance. One day, Mili offers to fill up for her colleague by attending to the royal family of Sambalgarh because the man of the house Sekhar (Aamir raza) is a paralytic. All matters happen under the strict eye of the lady of the house Nirmala Rathore (ratna). Mili enters the disciplined house and things go for a toss. Even Nirmala’s son Vikram (fawad) also dislikes her but things change at one point. What exactly happens forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was just alirght. The dialogues were okay. The script was expected and the screenplay could have been better. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was required at few places. Costumes were well designed to suit the royalty while the art department was majestic. Sonam Kapoor looks cute and she carries out her role with good energy, Fawad Khan is handsome and elegant, Ratna Pathak was excellent, Aamir Raza was apt, Kirron Kher was entertaining. Others didn’t get much scope.

Conclusion:
The film is meant to be a remake of the original which came in the 80s but it is nowhere near the original. The first half revolves around elements of comedy, some romance and some drama. The interval bang was alright and the graph dips in the second half where the scenes look monotonous and the ending could have been more impact creating. Overall, the intent behind the film is good but it is not sufficient to hook the audience completely. At the box office, this could be an average grosser.
