Mardaani Hindi Cinema Review
Presentation:
The director has come up with a realistic storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was engaging in parts. The dialogues were good at places. The script was average and the screenplay could have been tighter. The background score was energetic and songs didn’t have much to do. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was weak in second half. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was natural and appealing. Rani Mukerji has carried out her role with perfection and she suits it nicely. Tahir was competent and he made an impact. Jisshu Sengupta was apt, Priyanka Sharma was upto the mark, Anil George was impressive, Mona was adequate.

Conclusion:
The issue of flesh trade and girl trafficking has been on the rise in our country and it must be said that this film is a decent attempt to show a dark side of this world. The first half is quite energetic and gets to the point without much confusion. But the second half had its flaws. The length was a dampener and even the ending could have been more realistic. Still, there is a good message to the viewers. At the box office, the film will appeal to the thinking audience and those who respond to societal issues so profits could be got.
