Kochadaiiyaan Bollywood Movie Review
Kalingapuri and Kottaipattinam are two powerful kingdoms at rivalry and the chief commander of Kalingapuri is Rana (rajinikanth) whose king is Raja Mahendra. He takes his army to attack Kottaipatinam but at the battle he changes sides and becomes a hero in Kottaipatinam. But once going there, Rana decides to kill the king (Nasser). Why does he want to do that? What is the reason? All this forms the rest.
Kochadaiiyaan Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was good in parts. The dialogues were alright. The script was average and the screenplay was moderate. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth listening. Graphics were not top most quality but the efforts are commendable. Editing was little sluggish. Graphic Costumes were designed to suit the royalty very well while the art department was majestic. Rajnikanth shoulders the film very well and he is the life and soul for this project. Deepika Padukone was brief but she made her presence felt. Nasser was natural. Sarath Kumar was good. Aadi, Sneha, Rukmini, Shobhana were there to fill the gaps. Jackie Shroff was elegant. The others didn’t get much scope.
Kochadaiiyaan Filem Review
The film is the dubbed version of the Tamil movie with the same title. This has been in the reckoning for quite a long time and this happens to be the first indigenously made graphic movie using motion capture technology in India. Though it cannot be compared with the Hollywood flicks it must be said that the hardwork is seen. The first half goes around with elements of romance, some action, drama. The interval bang was alright but the second half got a little slow due to lack of strength in story. One can also experience the lack of nativity touch for the north Indian audience but the Rajini factor might compensate that. Overall, at the box office, the film might get an average response.

Bharatstudent verdict: Recommended for the graphics and animation
