Revolver Rani Bollywood Movie Review
Alka Singh (kangna) is a noted politician in a land where goons and guns rule. However, she loses in the election giving chance to her opponent gang (zakir hussain, kumud mishra, pankaj). Sensing her threat, the trio decides to hurt Alka and end up kidnapping Rohan (vir das). He is Alka’s toyboy and also an aspiring film actor. What happens from there forms the rest.
Revolver Rani Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a quirky storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was not that great. The dialogues were hard hitting. The script was average and the screenplay was not tight. The background score was good and two songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was sloppy during the second half. Costumes were well designed to suit the backdrop while the art department was realistic. Kangna Ranaut has given a stellar performance and scores once again. Vir Das was competent and made his presence felt. Zakir Hussain was superb, Piyush Mishra was perfect, Kumud Mishra was neat, Pankaj Saraswat was apt.
Revolver Rani Filem Review
Gangster and political related flicks come with a special flavor and it must be said that they have to be packed in the right proportion to create that entertainment value. In this film, the first half goes in a promising manner and the characterization is good. The interval bang was also neat but things dwindle from the second half. Most of the sequences were forced upon and it is not until the ending that the real impact is created. Overall, this is a film which could have worked well if the second half was handled properly. At the box office, the openings could be heavy due to external factors but success is doubtful.
