O Teri Bollywood Movie Review
Story:
Prantabh (pulkit) and Anand (bilal) are two journo interns in Delhi who want to prove a point to their boss (sarah jane) that they are good in their job. So, they search for a big scam. Things take a turn when a dead body lands in their car, a bridge collapses and above all, they get hold of a CD which involves a big politician (anupam kher). Whether they are successful in their mission or not forms the rest.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting storyline and while the presentation was good, the narrative was not appealing. The dialogues were good in places. The script was familiar and the screenplay was shoddy. The background score was alright but songs were not impressive. Cinematography was effective. Editing was not sharp. Costumes were trendy and fashionable while the art department was apt. Pulkit Samrat was impressive and he gave a good act. Bilal Amrohi was confident but needs to work more. Sarah Jane did her bit as required. Anupam Kher was good as usual, Vijay Raaz was brief but made his presence felt. Mandira Bedi was neat, Manoj Pahwa was alright.

Conclusion:
Coming up with political satire may be a good idea but it takes smart handling of the script and good grip over the screenplay. Both didn’t work here because the flavor of comedy was bad and one can see a lot of inspiration from the cult hit Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron. The first half goes on a lighter mode with elements of comedy, romance. The second half has its share of ups and downs and the climax was not that convincing. Overall, this is a film which had good potential but it was not used properly. At the box office, success is difficult.

Bharatstudent verdict: Interesting subject but poor handling
