BOSS Bollywood Movie Review
A masala tale the story begins with Satyakant (mithun) who accidentally kills a teenager and to save him, his son Boss (akshay) takes the blame and goes to jail. Boss has a younger brother Shiv (shiv pandit) but by the time he gets release from jail, his family moves out. The story takes a turn when Shiv gets into a fight with the home minister’s son who is constantly harassing Ankita (aditi rao), she happens to be the sister of a noted police officer (ronit roy). What happens after that forms the rest of the story.
BOSS Hindi Cinema Review
The director has come up with a typical masala storyline and while the presentation was rich, the narrative was swift. The dialogues were having enough punches. The script was average but the screenplay was engaging. The background score was melodious and three songs were worth watching. Cinematography was the main strength to this film. Editing was sharp. Costumes were well designed to suit the royalty while the art department was majestic. Akshay Kumar has carried out his role with elan and has done a fabulous job. Mithun Chakraborty was superb. Danny was excellent. Ronit Roy was good. Shiv made his presence felt. Aditi Rao was a visual feast. Johnny Lever was funny.
BOSS Filem Review
The film happens to be the remake of the Malayalam superhit ‘Pokkiri Raja’ but then enough changes have been made to the script to suit the taste of the native audience. The first half goes about with the regular elements of comedy, romance, action masala and the second half has got some melodrama as well. overall, this is a film which is meant for the commercial audience and not for the logical or thinking audience. Still, the box office might get some good numbers and this film would be a profit fare.

Bharatstudent verdict: Out and out masala action entertainer, can be watched once
