Bajatey Raho Bollywood Movie Review
Story:
An alright tale the story begins with Sabharwal (Ravi Kissan) who is a scamster posing as a businessman. While he continues doing his series of frauds, one incident damages the lives of four people, Mrs Baweja (dolly), Sukhi (Tusshar Kapoor), Mintoo (Vinay Pathak) and Ballu (Ranvir Shorey). Together, they all decide to take their revenge on Sabharwal and whether they are successful or not forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with a entertaining storyline and while the presentation was moderate, the narrative was absorbing in parts. The dialogues were well written. The script was average and the screenplay could have been better. The background score was fitting and two songs were worth watching. Cinematography was standard. Editing should have been sharp in first half. Costumes were natural while the art department was appealing. Dolly Ahluwalia was fabulous with her act, Tusshar Kapoor was neat, Ranveer and Vinay Pathak didn’t get enough to do. Ravi Kissan was regular. Vishakha Singh was seductive. Rajinder Sethi was excellent. Others filled the gaps.

Conclusion:
The choice of the genre is something unusual but despite having a strong potential the execution part didn’t go that strongly. The first half of the film was quite sober with the layering of the plot and the character introduction. The real film only begins in the second half and has got some bright moments. Overall, this is a film which manages to entertain in bits and pieces. If the first half was worked well then it would have been a big winner. At the box office, the film has potential to become an average to above average grosser.

Bharatstudent verdict:
Partly entertaining but a decent attempt
